We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented housekeeper for a long-term, part-time position in a private two-bedroom flat in Belgravia.

This role would suit a dedicated professional with substantial private-household housekeeping experience who takes genuine pride in maintaining an exceptionally clean, well-organised home. The successful candidate will be hands-on, thorough, proactive and consistent, with a strong eye for detail and a clear interest in a long-term housekeeping position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness throughout the property, with a strong emphasis on thorough, hands-on cleaning.

  • Managing laundry, ironing as required, and changing bed linen.

  • Keeping the household organised and ensuring everything is maintained to a high standard.

  • Monitoring and maintaining the cleaning supplies cupboard, ensuring products and essentials are well stocked.

  • Opening and organising deliveries.

  • Dropping off packages and assisting with occasional household errands.

  • Occasionally liaising with contractors and helping coordinate household maintenance.

  • Providing occasional minor pet care for Rosie, the household's senior Siberian Husky.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Substantial private-household housekeeping experience, with demonstrable expertise in detailed, thorough cleaning.

  • An exceptional eye for detail and a consistently high standard of work.

  • A reliable, proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • A stable employment history, demonstrating longevity in previous housekeeping positions.

  • A genuine interest in committing to a long-term, part-time cleaning and housekeeping role.

  • Confidence and genuine comfort around large dogs, together with a willingness to provide occasional minor pet care.

  • A straightforward, reliable commute to Belgravia.

Important Considerations

This is a dedicated housekeeping and cleaning position, rather than a nanny-housekeeper role. Candidates whose experience is primarily in childcare, nannying or other unrelated domestic work, without substantial private-household cleaning experience, will not be suitable.

We are particularly interested in candidates who take pride in the finer details of housekeeping and are looking for a stable, long-term position within a private household.
