A warm and friendly family based in SW7 is looking for an experienced, reliable and proactive Live-In Cook/Housekeeper to join their household on a full-time basis.

The family consists of two adults and two young children, aged 2 and 4 years old. They are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-organised home and who enjoys preparing fresh, healthy Mediterranean-style meals.

Duties will include:

  • General housekeeping and keeping the home clean, tidy and organised

  • Laundry, including washing and folding

  • Ironing and care of clothes and household linens

  • Preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the family

  • Cooking mainly Mediterranean-style food, using fresh ingredients

  • Keeping the kitchen clean and organised

  • Managing household routines and ensuring the home runs smoothly

  • Occasional support with the children as required, although this is primarily a cook/housekeeping position

The ideal candidate:

  • Has previous experience working as a housekeeper/cook in a private household

  • Is confident preparing healthy, fresh and nutritious family meals

  • Has good knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine

  • Is organised, efficient and takes initiative

  • Has excellent cleaning, laundry and ironing skills

  • Is warm, trustworthy and family-oriented

  • Is comfortable working around young children

  • Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in their work

  • Is discreet, professional and respectful of family privacy

Accommodation

The successful candidate will have their own private bedroom and private bathroom, providing a comfortable and independent living space within the household.

The family would ideally like someone who will go home at weekends, making this an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a Monday–Friday live-in position.
