PLEASE NOTE: The Principal is a smoker

The employer is looking for someone who has a good employment history [contactable references] and someone who has stayed in at least two jobs for a reasonable length of time. You need to be a team player, proactive and someone used to working in a smaller private household environment as opposed to large estates or royal palaces.

 

This position will involve looking after one very active, elderly principal who travels extensively and runs his businesses.

Traveling between London, Sweden, Spain and Switzerland responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with general household duties
  • Assisting with general household duties
  • Cooking of meals as required using fresh high quality produce [in chefs absence]
  • Cooking and serving breakfast and lunch
  • If required, serving meals and drinks
  • Assisting with making personal care and grooming appointments
  • Assisting with packing and travel preparations
  • To accompany Principal on his travels worldwide
  • Working 6 days a week [may include weekends]

Accommodation will be provided at all locations either within or adjacent to the main property.

Required skills

  • Driving license
  • MUST HAVE A NURSING/CARE BACKGROUND
  • Cooking (to home-cooking standard - useful]
  • Computer skills
  • Languages: English – to mother tongue standard
  • Understands concepts like being anticipatory, friendly not familiar, privacy and confidentiality, invisible and available
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Business and technology capability including computers and accounting
  • Problem solving and “get it done” attitude. Very “hands-on” and ready to pitch in. Flexible and well organised
  • Very resourceful, quickly learns how and where to get things done in the local area
